Pressure check
Measurement of the actual pressure before any work, so we know where the equipment stands instead of topping it up blind.
Service
A breaker that hits softly, or a boom suspension that no longer absorbs: nitrogen pressure drops slowly, and performance drops with it. We check that pressure and restore it, on site or in the workshop, whatever the make.
Services
Measurement of the actual pressure before any work, so we know where the equipment stands instead of topping it up blind.
Nitrogen charged to the pressure specified for the equipment, checked after filling and verified for pressure retention.
Nitrogen chamber of rock breakers, from small hammers on compact excavators to equipment on large carriers.
Accumulators in the hydraulic circuit, in particular the nitrogen spheres of damping and boom suspension systems.
Method
A pressure loss is a symptom, not a fault in itself. Charging without measuring gives equipment that works for a few weeks and then ends up in the same state.
The check is done on site, during another visit or as part of a service call, and in the workshop when the equipment is already there.
In practice
Nitrogen charging is a short job that fits easily alongside another visit to your fleet. It is also one of the few interventions where the result is felt immediately in use.
