What she handles
The company's administration and the coordination of projects: following up files, organising jobs, and liaising with customers and suppliers.
In practice that means someone is there to answer and to carry a file forward while the technician is under a machine. A quote does not sit unanswered for three weeks, and a request does not get lost.
Her apprenticeship as a mechanic and her experience running a machine fleet change the nature of those exchanges: she understands what a customer is describing on the phone, and what a workshop needs.

Agricultural machinery mechanic
Four years of apprenticeship in an agricultural machinery workshop, working directly on the machines. This is where the technical grounding and the feel for workshop work were built.

Technical vocational baccalaureate at CEFF, adding theoretical foundations to the hands-on training.

In charge of the machine fleet
Running and organising the machine fleet of a travelling circus. Planning, maintenance and equipment tracking in an operation where nothing can wait.

Several seasons on farms in Switzerland and abroad: arable farming, fruit growing, market gardening, olive growing, nursery work, floriculture, herb growing and beekeeping.
