Today
What she handles
The company's administration and the coordination of projects: following up files, organising jobs, and liaising with customers and suppliers.
In practice that means someone is there to answer and to carry a file forward while the technician is under a machine. A quote does not sit unanswered for three weeks, and a request does not get lost.
Her apprenticeship as a mechanic and her experience running a machine fleet change the nature of those exchanges: she understands what a customer is describing on the phone, and what a workshop needs.
